Our 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Event was a resounding success!  

We had a blast at our Breast Cancer Awareness Zumba class!  It was a fantastic workout, filled with high energy, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.  We're so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped us move our bodies, raise awareness, and support this vital cause.  Zumba is a great way to stay active and have fun, and it's even more rewarding when it's for a good cause.

• A spirit of giving: Lend a helping hand to Jacynda's School – Christopher Community Avenue School. We'll raise funds and collect clothes and essential items for students and families. Your generosity can make a real difference. We will also be donating flat-screen TVs and will be helping set them up.
• An educational journey: Discover the stories, achievements, and struggles that shaped our world. Interactive displays, engaging activities, and insightful presentations will bring Black history to life.
• A feast for the senses: Let the rhythmic pulse of steel drums and the captivating energy of dance performances fill your soul. Celebrate the artistry and joy that are hallmarks of Black culture.
• A treasure trove of delights: Support Black entrepreneurs and find unique gems at our dedicated vendor marketplace. From arts and crafts to delicious treats, there's something for everyone.

The Gold Wellness Alzheimer's Fundraiser Fair is in honor of Allean "Tootie" White, late mother of the organizer, Debra Dixon-Anderson, as well as others' past loved ones who had Alzheimer's and Dementia, those living with the disease, and their caregivers. 

Did you know?

• Worldwide, 50 million people are living with Alzheimer’s.
• The cost of caring for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias is estimated to total $335 billion in 2021, increasing to more than 1.1 trillion by mid-century.

Our goal is to emphasize the importance of wellness, exercise, brain health, self-care while caregiving, and much more!
