2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Event
Our 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Event was a resounding success!
We had a blast at our Breast Cancer Awareness Zumba class! It was a fantastic workout, filled with high energy, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. We're so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped us move our bodies, raise awareness, and support this vital cause. Zumba is a great way to stay active and have fun, and it's even more rewarding when it's for a good cause.

The world Alzheimer's Day is around the corner and so our upcoming event! 🤩😍 We are less than a week away from our Gold Wellness Alzheimer's Fundraiser!
We are excited to host our 4th Annual Gold Wellness Alzheimer's Fundraising Fair this Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at (Creative Space) 134 West 29th Between 6th & 7th Avenues, 2nd Floor, New York, New York 10001
We're hosting a Fundraiser that includes Wellness, Exercise, Fitness, and Education where attendees can participate in fitness classes such as Zumba, Yoga, and Meditation and Wellness Workshops, hear from experts not just about Wellness, but Finances, Elder Care, and Insurance discover wellness products and services, help and support our advocacy of supporting families with Loved ones navigating Alzheimer's and Dementia. Join us for this fantastic opportunity as we raise funds and awareness.
A little-known fact is that The number of Americans living with Alzheimer's is growing — and growing fast. Nearly 7 million Americans have Alzheimer's.
- An estimated 6.9 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's in 2024. Seventy-three percent are age 75 or older.
- About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older (10.9%) has Alzheimer's.
- Almost two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer's are women.

The Gold Wellness Alzheimer's Fundraiser Fair is in honor of Allean "Tootie" White, late mother of the organizer, Debra Dixon-Anderson, as well as others' past loved ones who had Alzheimer's and Dementia, those living with the disease, and their caregivers.
Did you know?
- Worldwide, 50 million people are living with Alzheimer’s.
- The cost of caring for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias is estimated to total $335 billion in 2021, increasing to more than 1.1 trillion by mid-century.
Our goal is to emphasize the importance of wellness, exercise, brain health, self-care while caregiving, and much more!
